Classical Homeopathy

Perhaps it goes without saying, but every one of us has been navigating a new way of being since March 2020, resulting in added stress, both individually and collectively. Homeopathy can help to restore balance and boost resilience, working seamlessly with other things we’re all doing to stay healthy. Consultations are also a time to be seen and heard, and recommendations are 100% individualized to support your unique experience. Now is a perfect time if you’ve been considering classical homeopathy as a supportive healing modality.

What is individualized care?

Five people with the same named diagnosis may be experiencing their symptoms very differently. In the vitalistic tradition, practitioners recognize this truth, focusing on the root cause of illness and a therapeutic relationship in which you are understood on a holistic level, enabling a bespoke approach to wellness and healing.

What is homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a complete system of healing that was first developed by a German doctor named Samuel Hahnemann in 1796. Remedies are created from substances found in nature and prepared using a specific method of dilution and succussion called potentization. Yes, this “nano-medicine” has been around for a LONG time, and science is now beginning to catch up in understanding how it all works. Based on the law of similars, or like-cures-like, homeopathic remedies serve as gentle, safe, and effective reminders to our bodies that they hold the ability to heal. Homeopathy is used by over 500 million people globally - the second-largest therapeutic system in the world. There is a growing body of existing and ongoing research supporting its efficacy. Homeopathy Research Institute is a good place to start if this interests you.

Why homeopathy?

  • Because homeopathy is for everyone and relies on an individualized approach based on how YOU experience your imbalance (acute or chronic, mental, physical, and/or spiritual). While named conditions can give clues about what the body needs, your unique expression of symptoms guides care. It’s my job to understand your experience as fully as possible through our consultation, which means that my most important responsibility is to listen. Then, through the use of a remedy that best matches your symptom picture, the goal is to encourage your body to heal from the inside out on your way toward reaching your personal “truest and highest calling.”

  • It is green. With our world’s resources stretched thin, green consciousness rightly permeates all areas of our lives, including our evaluation of wellness options. Because we work with dilute substances, only a minimal amount of raw material is required to make a nearly endless supply of remedies, and under the right conditions, they last a LONG time.

  • It is affordable. Healthcare can feel incredibly inaccessible, especially in the US, even with insurance. One of my missions is to ensure that Homeopathy is accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay. I need to pay my bills, but you deserve to feel your best and receive high-quality care when you don’t. We can work together to ensure that our needs are met. Oh, and the remedies themselves are affordable, as well! There is no pharmaceutical industry setting or pushing up prices, so costs are always reasonable (around $10-20 for a large supply).

  • It is safe. In addition to being gentle in their actions within the body, homeopathic remedies are part of the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States (HPUS) and are regulated by the FDA, ensuring that homeopathic pharmacies are held to the highest standard.

Services & Pricing

In chronic care, acute care, and everything in between, holistic healthcare is about listening and understanding the whole picture. It is about non-judgment and careful discernment. It is a time to be seen and heard. It is about partnership and your practitioner’s trust that you know your body, mind, and soul better than anyone else and that by stepping more fully into that place, you hold the key to healing. I am committed to holding a safe space as you share your story, bringing to the table the wisdom I have gathered over the years while remaining a gentle, loving presence on your journey.

Initial Intake

This is the initial consultation when I receive your whole case for the first time. I then go through an extensive analysis process before making a recommendation for your remedy. 7-10 days after your consultation, you will receive an email noting the name of your remedy, potency, how to order, dose, and track changes. This email will also include any additional recommendations we may have discussed during your consultation.

90-120+ mins | $350 adults | $295 infant/toddler

Routine Visit

These visits take place approximately every four to six weeks after starting your remedy until notable progress has been made, at which point, visits can be spaced farther apart. These appointments include a thorough review of any and all changes you’ve experienced since the previous meeting. As you heal, I will also regularly re-assess your case to determine whether a new remedy, potency, or dosing strategy is indicated.

45-60 mins | $125

Touchpoint Check-in

Meeting every five or six weeks isn’t always enough, especially during challenging times. Join me for a touchpoint check-in to maintain a sense of connection and to discuss any adjunct therapies that may be appropriate while giving your remedy time to act.

Note: Re-analysis and remedy changes are not made during these visits.

Chronic Care

Acute Intake

Phone or video, current clients only. Acute illness is a part of life, and with all that we juggle nowadays, convalescence at home can come with added complexity, especially while under care for a chronic condition. After our initial call, I will perform an analysis, offer acute remedy recommendation(s), and follow up through the course of your illness (up to one week).

20-30 mins | $75 (existing clients only)

Additional Days

Sometimes, acute illness falls on the severe end of the spectrum. In these cases (ex., Influenza, RSV, COVID, etc.), extended support is often needed as your body moves through the phases of illness and recovery. Having fielded hundreds of cases like this, a daily fee allows for ongoing communication and analysis extending past the first week without a larger upfront charge.

$35 / day

After Hours & Holiday Care

Speaking of extended care… In order for my practice to remain sustainable, I’m limiting acute care after 5 pm eastern time, on weekends, and on holidays to cases that are already underway. I am no longer able to take new acute cases outside of business hours. Thank you for supporting my efforts to cultivate a better work/life balance.

Acute Care

“Meg is a truly caring and compassionate provider. Her knowledge of remedies is deep and profound, and her attention to detail is exceptional. Her initial interview with me lasted for several hours, allowing her to get the whole picture of who I am, so she could choose carefully and be sure I got exactly the remedy that I needed. I have had many great follow-up visits, and she continues to be attentive and dedicated. I cannot recommend her highly enough!”
