Plant medicine has played a huge role in my life over the past decade and I see it as a complementary extension of a foundational, nutrition-based approach to healing and wellness. I'll be sharing posts about my work with plants, below.

In 2013, I experienced my first panic attack. It was while driving my kids home from school, in heavy traffic, on a single lane bridge, and was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life.
An accidental chomp and it is an explosion of bright light and heat. A genuine smile. Drunk as tea, it’s a gentler, simpler warmth. Closed eyes and a look of satisfaction. Even candied, the fieriness breaks through and travels downward to settle a troubled tum.
Acknowledging my rattling voice and a burning chest, I poured hot water over the thyme in my cup, covered it, and left it to steep as I took heavy steps towards the comfort of my couch.
Oh, old friend elderberry. There was only a small amount to play with this month, but play I did, and she certainly offered plenty to write about!
